Managed care is the coordination and the arrangement of health services that links together medical care with the managed care organization and payer that offers the covered benefits. This course, prepared by Strategic Healthcare Partners (SHP), consists of five basic lessons to teach you the idea and flow of the contract process and how it can benefit and protect your facility. - Examine and solve internal issues with managed care contracting that affect rural facilities.
